Prevention/Education Services
AIDS Resource offers various prevention/education programs to the community. All of these services are available for free.
HIV101
Free HIV101 classes (which cover the basics of HIV, modes of transmission, ways to protect yourself, etc.) offered to all area middle schools, high schools, colleges and community groupsUniversal Precaution Training
Free training on universal precautions (methods of protecting yourself from HIV) offered to all area agencies, businesses, civic groups, etc.
Risk Assessment/Risk Reduction Counseling
Our prevention specialists with analyze behaviors which may be putting you at risk for contracting HIV/AIDS and will work with you to develop an individualized risk reduction plan.
Community Outreach
Community outreach programs with specially trained outreach staff who offer individualized risk assessment and risk reduction counseling at sites where high-risk behavior is likely to occur (bars, college campuses, etc.)
Free Condoms
Free condoms are available at the AIDS Resource office during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
