Case
Management
Providing education and services that connect consumers to medical, psychosocial, and social services based on their needs in order to promote the well being of the individual. Generally, involves monthly face-to-face contact, which is necessary to access most support services.
Housing Assistance
Providing temporary shelter to eligible individuals, as well as providing rent, or mortgage payment to enable individuals to remain in their own dwellings.
Direct Emergency Assistance
Financial assistance for payment to providers for emergency based need for food, housing, utilities, medications, and transportation.
Nutritional Assistance
Nutritional education or counseling provided to consumers by a registered dietician.
Client-Treatment Education
Case Managers can provide written, video, and Internet based treatment resources.
Transportation Services
Can reimburse consumers or volunteers for mileage to social service or medical appointments. May also pay for bus tickets or tokens or use of a county transportation provider. Person requesting reimbursements must include proof of appointment slip and mileage reimbursement request form.
Food Card
Aids Resource currently offers a food program once a month to provide clients with nutritious food on a monthly basis.
Dental/Medical Care
Financial assistance (if available) for payment of dental/medical services.
HIV/AIDS Testing
